Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences conducts BITSAT 2021 for admissions into various B.Tech courses

Class 12th students having PCM/B as major subjects are eligible to appear in BITSAT 2021 exam. The interesting part is that Class 12 board toppers get an exemption from appearing in the BITSAT exam.

Details of BITSAT – 2021

BITSAT- 2021 is a computer-based online test. It will be of a total of 3-hour duration (without break). All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice.  Furthermore, each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark). There will be 150 questions in all.

The test consists of four parts:

Part I: Physics – 40 questions

Part II: Chemistry – 40 questions 

Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning – 15 and 10 questions respectively

Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B. Pharm candidates) – 45 questions


Important Note:

If a candidate answers all the 150 questions(without skipping any question), the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology only; four questions from each part. Furthermore, once the candidate has opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the earlier answered 150 questions.

BITSAT Score Report:

At the completion of the test, the computer will give out the result to the candidate in terms of the number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. However, the candidate can also check his or her score report at the BITS admission website on the next day of his or her test date.  No student will be allowed to repeat the test in the same year.
