What is anxiety?

Anxiety is a subjective human response that reacts involving the mind and body. Anxiety initiates an alarm mode whenever a person senses or perceives danger or threat. When the body and mind react to danger or threat, a person undergoes physical sensations of anxiety — things like accelerated heartbeat and breathing, stiff muscles, sweaty palms, a nauseous stomach, and shaking hands or legs. Such reactions make a person vulnerable and often help them to jump to the worst conclusions. Students usually spend their unreasonable amount of time feeling anxious, nervous, and helpless. It often causes difficulty in sleeping because of anxiety. It is equally important to pay attention to your thoughts and beliefs as they may lead to one of the symptoms of an anxiety problem or disorder.

Dear Friends, It is completely natural to worry when things get restless and difficult. But if anxieties become devastating, they can ruin your life.

Let’s understand the signs causing anxiety in students-

1] Emotional Changes-

It is common for a pupil to feel uneasy and constantly feel on the shore while experiencing anxiety. They often get easily irritated, miffed by small things that might not normally bother them. Also, they can find it very tough to focus. The student may act out in unexpected ways to avoid a situation they regard as threatening.

2] Social Changes-

Social change is an indicator of anxiety that occurs in a student’s life. For example, a student with an anxiety sickness may abruptly stop engaging with friends. They may start to find excuses to avoid social gatherings. Students with social anxiety will isolate and detach themselves. Eventually, they start spending the majority of their time alone.

3] Sleep Disturbance-
