Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts an entrance exam every year to recruit Group A Geologist, Junior Hydrogeologist in Group B, and Geophysicist. All the candidates of the age group of 21-35 years are eligible for the examination. The exam takes place on different dates in different cities. If the candidate qualifies for the written exam then they are called up for the interview. Later, the candidates are handed over to their duties depending upon their preferences and marks.

UPSC 2020 dates: The exam will be conducted online on 17th and 18th October 2020.

UPSC 2020 Paper pattern: UPSC has a defined paper pattern and the questions are subjective in nature.
