The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will conduct the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) entrance exam 2020 for the eighth Post Graduate Diploma courses on 18th October 2020. The authority had released application forms in online mode. Candidates appearing for the examination must check the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. The exam takes place only once in a year and, do note that the entrance exam is open to Indian nationals only. The exam will take place online and remotely which means that the candidates have to appear for examination from home.
Important Dates for IIMC entrance exam 2020
Last date for application submission: 23rd September 2020
Online Examination: 18th October 2020
Note: Candidates who had already applied need not apply again. This is a revised date of application submission for candidates who wish to appear for the IIMC entrance exam 2020. You can fill the online application form from http://iimc.ssinfotechonline.com/
Applicants who have already applied but wish to withdraw the application for some reason can write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You must quote your URN (Unique Registration Number) and your payment details in the mail and send it before 18th September 2020.
Candidates are advised to have a laptop or a desktop with a good and stable internet connection from where they will appear for the examination.
Paper Pattern for IIMC entrance exam 2020
There is a change in the paper pattern this year due to the prevailing situation. The question paper this year will have multiple choice questions and that will be of 100 marks. Group discussion and interview were a part of the admission process until last year but this year the authorities will skip that part.

- Knowledge of India’s social, political, cultural, legal, and constitutional provision and about the rights of the citizens
- How global development is affecting India?
- Knowhow of India’s development with respect to its economy, infrastructure, health, education, environment, science, and technology

- Reasoning, and aptitude
- Literature, culture, and cinema
- Analytical and comprehensive skills
- Lateral thinking ability
- Creativity and brand awareness
