We all eagerly waited for the JEE entrance examinations amidst this pandemic. The dates are now finally out.  We all know that the Supreme Court has decided to take the exams on the decided date because they believe that the future of the stand can’t stay on hold. Many students must be feeling relieved with the decision of conducting JEE exams on the latest proposed date. Students were under pressure and in the dilemma but now it’s all over. NTA will conduct JEE Main from 1st September 2020 to 6th September 2020 in around 224 cities in the country and 8 centers abroad.

JEE 2020 has some guidelines set up for the candidates. They should follow these guidelines before appearing for the examination to ensure safety.

  • Candidates are instructed to carry a self-declaration letter that states that they are not COVID positive. They should carry symptoms of the COVID-19 too.
  • There is an undertaking form along with the Admit Card on the website so the candidates has to fill up that form as well. You have to carry the form and the Admit Card both at the exam center.
  • No candidates will receive the Admit card through the post.
  • If there is any problem in downloading the Admit Card then the student can mail along with the undertaking form on  jeemain@nta.ac.in

SOP for JEE Main 2020

Safety is the priority and keeping that in mind; the government has made several changes in the procedure for conduction JEE examinations.

  • There is a provision of sanitizers, masks, gloves, and disinfectant sprays to all the examination centers. A thorough sanitization should be made to the examination hall.
  • The candidate has to undergo a temperature check before making an entry.
  • Candidates having a temperature of less than 99.4oF will move further for document verification.  Candidates with higher temperatures should move to an isolated room.
  • Students with higher temperatures in isolation room will have to undergo thermal screening. If the temperature then is normal then you can go and take your seat. If the temperature is still high then you will have to give the test while in isolation.
  • The document verification will start once the temperature screening finishes.
  • Students will display the admit card from distance to maintain social distancing and avoid physical contact.
