What is NMAT?
NMAT by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) or NMAT exam is a popular computer-based MBA entrance examination in India. Leading B-Schools of India shortlist top talents for admission into MBA courses offered by these colleges. The exam can be taken 3 times during a span of 3 months. Nearly 90,000 candidates register for the examination via online mode.

  • Candidates who have scored at least 50% marks 
  • No age limit 
  • Candidate having work experience are also eligible to apply

Note: If any candidate is found ineligible in any of the admission stage, that candidate gets disqualified for any further process.

NMAT 2020 Registration cum Application Process 

Step 1: Visit the NMAT official website
Step 2: Create an account using the email id and other basic details. A verification link is going to be sent to the email address provided. Use this link to verify and successfully create an account.

Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration form which include the following: 

  • Personal information 
  • Contact details 
  • Education qualifications along with work experience 
  • Preference of programs/schools to send scores 
  • ID, that is to be carried on the day of the test

Step 4: Upload photographs strictly in accordance with the specified format and size.
Step 5: Submit all the details and proceed to pay the fees.
Step 6: After fee payment, candidates are going to receive an “NMAT by GMAC ID”. Make a note of it.
Step 7:  After successful registration, candidates can schedule their exam, book slot, and download the admit card from the dashboard.
