What is CAT?
CAT exam or the Common Admission Test is a computer-based MBA entrance test for admissions into the IIMs and several other prestigious B-Schools in the Country. CAT exam is conducted every year by the IIMs on a rotational basis.
CAT 2020 Dates
Given below are tentative CAT 2020 dates for reference. The exact dates will be updated once the CAT 2020 notification is released in July.

Eligibility criteria

  • Graduation degree with an aggregate of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (45 percent for reserved category) 
  • Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with 50 percent marks or equivalent (45 percent for reserved category) 
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation degree are also eligible

CAT 2020 Registration cum Application Process 

  • Click on ‘New Registrations’
  • Enter personal details like name, date of birth, phone number and email ID 
  • An OTP will be sent to your email ID 
  • Use that OTP to authenticate phone number and email ID and follow further instructions 
  • Upload scanned signature and image in a prescribed dimension and make fee payment to complete the CAT registration process.
