The aspirants of IITs and NIT were waiting to give the JEE Main exams but as a result of the pandemic of COVID-19, the exam could not be taken as scheduled. The NTA keeps updating their website for all the relevant information. On a positive side, we can say that the aspirants have got extra time to revise for the exam. With respect to the letter issued by MHRD on 18th March 2020. The competent authority of the National Testing Agency has postponed the JEE Main Exams April 2020 examinations dates on the 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th April 2020 earlier. The exam authority decides this keeping in mind the safety of the candidates. The resulting outbreak of COVID-19 is risky therefore it was necessary to avoid exams on scheduled dates.
They will be announcing the new dates of JEE (Main) examination and admit cards on/after the 31st March 2020. The downloading of admit cards that contains roll number and other information will be available 15 days before the exam.

As per the latest information available on the website; the exam dates as of now 18/7/2020 to 23/7/ 2020 in both the shifts. The CBSE board has announced dates for the canceled exam. Ensure that they are taking precautions that it does not clash with the JEE.
