What is AIIMS?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, located in New Delhi. Known for its a public medical research university and medical school. Recognized as the best Medical School, Hospital and Medical Research University in South Asia and secured 1st position in India and South Asia. 

You can fill your application forms via PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) comprising of two which includes basic and final registration stages.

AIIMS, New Delhi has released an official notification regarding the revised schedule of final registration and correction in basic registration for AIIMS PG (postgraduate) courses – July 2020 session on its official website, aiimsexams.org.

The exam will be on May 3 (Sunday). The mode of examination will be online and offline at selected exam centers.

Aspirants registered for the AIIMS PG January session not required to fill the application form for the July session again. 

Other details:

There will be a total of 200 questions to answer.

After the conclusion of basic registration, the final registration process of the AIIMS PG 2020 application form will begin. It will as for details like contact details, payment of application fees, choice of exam city and printout of the submitted application form.

It is mandatory for candidates to complete basic and final registration. 

Candidates will be applying for admission to around 546 seats in the Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), and MCh courses in the seven AIIMS institutes. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age limit: There is no age limit for the candidates who wish to apply for AIIMS PG 2020

  • Number of attempts: There is no limit in the attempts you appear for the exam

  • Nationality: A candidate can be an Indian National/OCI/ NRI/foreign national

  • Minimum qualification: He/she must possess an MBBS/ BDS degree from a recognized institute 

  • Minimum Criteria: Minimum marks required for the General/OBC/general PWD category should be in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SC PWD/ST PWD category need a minimum of 50% in their qualifying examination to apply for AIIMS PG 2020.
