What is KEAM?

Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) is a state-level exam conducted by CEE mainly for the state of Kerala. The exam is held annually to offer admission to BTech courses at various government and private colleges in Kerala. Candidates seeking admission to engineering degree courses in the state need to appear for KEAM 2020.

 KEAM Answer Key release date: First week of May 2020

 Declaration of KEAM Results: On or before 25-May-2020

 Rank list declaration date: On or before 20-Jun-2020

 KEAM Counselling – Phase 1: Third week of June to the first week of July 2020

 KEAM Counselling – Phase 2: Fourth week of June to the second week of July 2020

 KEAM Counselling – Phase 3: Second to the Third week of July 2020

 Mop up round (to fill vacant seats): Fourth week of July to the second week of August 2020

 KEAM exam General Information:

  • The exam frequency is once a year.

  • The candidate can get the form online. 

  • The exam is to be given offline in writing.

  • Exam duration: 2 Hours and 30 minutes

Application Form Details:

 While filling the Application form, the candidate must keep the following points in mind:

  • Age limit: 17 years as on 31st December 2020 to apply for the entrance test.

  • Only one application form is accepted to any or all of the courses

  • While filling out applications, upload photograph & signatures

  • The authority will also provide a correction facility via online mode.

  • After submission of the application form, candidates must take a printout of their form for further use.

Documents Required to be Sent Along with Application:

  • Nativity Proof

  • DOB Proof

  • Course Certificate in Original or Self Attested copy of Mark list (if applicable)

  • Income Certificate (if applicable)

  • Proof for Special Reservation (if applicable)

Candidates will have to submit the following documents in order to prove that they are a native of Kerala.

  • A copy of SSLC certificate

  • A copy of SSLC certificate of either of the parents

  • A copy of the Passport of the candidate or either of his/her parents

  • Birth Certificate of the candidate

  • Certificate from Village Officer/Tehsildar

  • Certificate from competent authority showing either of the parents is an All India Service Officer

Candidates will have to submit the following documents in order to prove that they belong to Non-Keralite Category I (NK I).

  • Certificate from the Head of Organisation where the parents of the candidate is/are working, and a Certificate from the Head of the Institution where the candidate is studying.

  • Certificate from the Village Officer showing that the candidate is a resident of Kerala for a period of 5 years.

  • Certificate from the Head of the Institution showing that the candidate has undergone schooling from VIII to XII.

Qualification for BTech (DSc & Tech)

Candidates are eligible to apply if they have:

  • Passed HSC exam of Kerala or its equivalent with 50 % marks in Mathematics or Biology 

  • Secured an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology
