Objective of MoEFCC
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the Central Government. Formed for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of India’s environmental and forestry policies and programs.
The main concern of the Ministry is the execution of policies and programs pertaining to the conservation of the country’s natural resources comprising its lakes and rivers. Ensuring biodiversity for the welfare of animals and the prevention of pollution.
